Terms & Risk

Read this before you launch or trade.

Minterns is a tool, not a bank or a broker. This page explains what it does, what it does not do, and the risks you take on. By using Minterns you agree to these terms.

The short version

  • Minterns is non-custodial. Your wallet signs every transaction; Minterns never holds your SOL, your tokens or your keys.
  • Tokens on Minterns are created by the people who launch them, not by Minterns. Most new tokens lose value, and you can lose everything you put in.
  • Solana transactions are final. They cannot be reversed or refunded by anyone, including Minterns.
  • Nothing on Minterns is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
  • Minterns is an independent project, not affiliated with Meteora.

What Minterns is

Minterns is a website for launching and trading tokens on Meteora's Dynamic Bonding Curve (DBC) on Solana mainnet. The interns are an animated way of showing what the software does. They are not people, and they do not make decisions for you.

The site prepares transactions and shows data read from the blockchain. Your wallet signs the transactions, and the Solana network and Meteora's programs carry them out. Minterns does not run an exchange, keep an order book or take custody of anything.

The office scene, ticker and Office log show real on-chain events. When nothing has happened yet, the office plays a practice routine that is clearly labelled DEMO, and older events replay labelled REPLAY.

Who may use it

You must be of legal age where you live, and the laws that apply to you must allow you to use crypto-asset tools like this one. Do not use Minterns if you are a sanctioned person, are in a sanctioned region, or if using it would be unlawful for you.

You are responsible for your own taxes and for following the rules that apply to you.

Launching a token

  • You are the creator of any token you launch. You alone are responsible for its name, ticker, logo, description, links and anything you promise about it.
  • Do not launch tokens that impersonate people, projects or brands, infringe anyone's rights, promote illegal activity or mislead buyers, such as fake "official" tokens.
  • Each launch map sets the curve, supply, fees and graduation rules. The Launch Desk shows them before you sign. Once the pool exists, these settings cannot be changed.
  • Launching costs real SOL (network fees, account rent and your optional first buy) and cannot be undone.

Trading on the curve

  • The price moves with every buy and sell on the bonding curve. The trade panel shows the price impact, fee and minimum you receive before you sign, but the price can change before your transaction lands.
  • When a curve fills up, the token graduates to a Meteora DAMM v2 pool. That migration is carried out by Meteora's keeper or other services, not by Minterns, and it can take time.
  • Always check the contract address in the Curve Room. Anyone can copy a token's name or picture; no one can copy its address.

Fees

Every trade on the curve pays the map's trading fee. Meteora keeps 20% of it, and the rest is split 40% to the Minterns platform and 40% to the token's creator. Network fees go to Solana validators.

The exact fee of each map is shown on the Launch Desk and in each token's Curve Room. Fees build up in the pool; the creator and the platform claim them with transactions they sign.

Risks you accept

  • Market risk: most new tokens lose most or all of their value, often quickly. Liquidity can be thin and prices can be manipulated.
  • No vetting: Minterns does not review, audit or endorse tokens, creators or their claims. A card on the Scout Board is not a recommendation.
  • Software risk: Solana, Meteora's programs, wallets and RPC providers can have bugs, outages or exploits outside Minterns' control.
  • Wallet risk: if you lose your seed phrase or sign a malicious transaction, your assets can be gone for good. Minterns never asks for your seed phrase.
  • Network risk: transactions can fail, be delayed or fill at a different price when the network is busy.
  • Regulatory risk: rules about crypto-assets change and may limit what you can do.

Listings and content

Tokens live on the Solana blockchain. Minterns hosts the logo and metadata files of tokens launched here, and the token points to them on-chain.

Minterns may hide tokens, images or text from its own pages at its discretion, for example impersonations, lookalikes of the reserved $MINTERN ticker, or unlawful content. Hiding a token on Minterns does not remove it from the blockchain, and it may still trade elsewhere.

Data and privacy

  • There are no accounts, and Minterns uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
  • Wallet addresses and transactions are public on the blockchain; Minterns reads and shows them.
  • Logos and metadata you upload are published openly and referenced from your token on-chain, so treat them as permanent.
  • The server briefly uses your IP address to rate-limit uploads, and keeps ordinary server logs for security and fixing problems.
  • Your browser keeps a few settings on your device only: your selected wallet, whether the office sound is on, and whether you have already seen the intro.

No advice, no warranty

Minterns is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Prices, market caps, charts and fees on the site can be delayed or wrong; check on-chain before you act.

Nothing on Minterns is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or an offer or invitation to buy or sell anything.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Minterns team is not liable for any loss of funds, tokens, profits or data, or for any indirect or consequential damage, that comes from using the site, the tokens on it or the third-party services it relies on.

You accept the risks on this page, and you are responsible for claims that arise from the tokens you launch or the content you publish.

Changes

Minterns and these terms can change. The date at the top shows the current version, and using Minterns after a change means you accept the updated terms.
